I have a huge 16x6 solid single panel garage door built in 1942. It opens by pulling up and out and was getting too heavy for me to handle. I called Precision Garage Door and requested a bid on a new door. Salesman and technician, Billy Tackett, came to my house the same day exactly when he said he was coming. I could even track his location as he made his way to my house. He studied the job and was not intimidated by this old heavy door that I wanted to preserve if possible. He gave me a bid by that evening for a garage door opener. 3 days later he installed it himself after a lot of work in 98 degree heat. It works great. He saved both my door and my back. The BEST. Honest, competent, and reliable. Thank you.

Wed pm, pulled into garage, clicked button to open tailgate on SUV while clicking the garage door to close. Realized my error nano seconds before the two doors collided. Partially knocked garage door off one railing. Was referred to Precision by a neighbor. Called Precision Thu am, they provided a 2-hour window, same day service. Technician Shane arrived within the time window, assessed the situation, provided multiple options, we selected one, Shane went to work and was done in an hour. Polite, professional, knowledgeable. From the time we called to the time Shane drove off, less than 4 hours. Unbelievable service.

My door was making noise and I got a same day appointment with Precision Garage Door of Austin. They sent ******************* who is top notch. He fully diagnosed and repaired where the sound from the garage door was coming from. He also made recommendations about replacing the door and motor since they are on the old side. He drove off for a moment and came right back when I reported one more issue. 100% satisfied with the repairs and service. When I need the door chained I know where I'm going first.

Shane Murphy was my technician and a better one I could not find. He was on time, congenial and most willing to explain the overall problem and what was needed to eliminate it. He was the type of person that, if I had a business, I would certainly give much responsibility and credit in order to keep him with my company. It took him less than half an hour to make the repairs and explain everything to me. He is definitely a real asset to your company. As a result, my garage door opener works as if it is brand new. Really enjoyed our tech Isaiah. He broke everything down for me in a method I could understand and gave us options. This time the fix was easy and I appreciated his honesty and the fact that he didn’t disrespectfully try to sell us something unneeded at this time. I asked for his card so we can circle back and make some upgrades to the aged door. He went ahead and shared estimates and guess who we’ll call when we’re ready to do this? Precision Garage Door. And guess who we’ll be asking for? Isaiah! Looks to me like they’re working to build relationships and gain customers for life. Thats who I love to do business with!

This is my third time using Precision for work on my garage doors. They had serviced my previous home and replaced my door in the past. This time I had them replace two Genie garage door openers and keypads with Liftmaster …. A MUCH superior, more reliable product, in my experience. Phil Belfrage did an excellent job of explaining what he could offer to solve my problems and then did the work alone in a very reasonable amount of time. I made the service request around 6:00pm on a Saturday and Phil was at my house before 8:30am on Sunday. Fantastic service and responsiveness! It was NOT cheap but I feel that the new systems are a huge upgrade and a great improvement over the Genie systems our builder installed and I am grateful for the rapid response since we were locked out of the garage space. I highly recommend Precision Garage Door of Austin and Phil is awesome!!!

Michael was available before the appointment time and came right out. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the wall-mounted garage opener (bad circuit board) and thoroughly inspected the rest of the system (belt/door/tracks/motor housing/wiring, etc.). He replaced the wall mounted opener with an upgraded model with increased functionality. He also provided instructions on properly lubricating the door tracks and recommended the best silicone spray for the job. Lastly, labor and part costs were very reasonable. I highly recommend Michael (very professional, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient) and Precision Garage Door.
