I could not be more pleased with Precision Garage Door Repair. I bought a nice, new Lift Master door opener about 2 or 3 years ago and it has been great. The last couple of weeks, I noticed a high pitched, eardrum piercing squeal, so thought maybe the belt drive needed to be lubricated. The technician, Landon, came out to investigate and as it turned out, a gear was failing. So thanks to the warranty, I got a completely new door opener (with an improved quality gear), keypad and remotes at no charge. Booking the appointment online was super convenient and communication was excellent regarding confirmation and arrival time. Highly recommend.

Daniel Ritchie did a great job troubleshooting a garage door that wouldn't open. The door was new and he quickly determined that the install, done by a non-reputable, contractor, was very shoddy: nuts and bolts missing; guide track completely dry (no oil); drive underpowered for the door size and weight, wall mount component completely not working. I let the GC know that in the future they should work with reputable companies, like Precision.

After both of our garage doors were accidentally backed into and dented, I wanted to have them inspected and possibly serviced to make sure they were still safe to use. I had seen a garage door come crashing down at a friend's house because of poor maintenance and a broken component, so safety was my top priority while we figure out replacement options. Shane came out incredibly quickly, thoroughly inspected both doors, confirmed they were safe to use, and answered all of my questions about replacement options. He also took the time to explain different insulation choices that would help keep the Texas heat out, which was especially helpful. I couldn't be happier with their professionalism, knowledge, and prompt service. I highly recommend them to anyone needing garage door inspection, repair, or replacement.

Precision replaced our garage doors over 10 years ago and have serviced them since then. They operate like new and the motors with LED lights that installed about 7 years ago are great. Technicians are always very polite, clean and efficient.

We were in a bind when the door spring broke, and we couldn't get our cars out of the garage. We called in the morning and technician Daniel Ritchie arrived at 12:45 and was able to get the door raised so the car could be removed. Then he inspected everything an gave us three options for repairs. Our door was 26 years old and needed a lot of work, but Daniel came prepared with all the necessary tools, bearings, rollers, cables and springs and got the door repaired and working better than it was when it was new. Daniel was very courteous, hardworking, efficient, knowledgeable and seemed to really like his job. We are so glad that we called Precision Garage Door of Austin and pleased that this excellent repair comes with a 10-year parts and labor warranty!

My garage door opener was working intermittently. I decided it was time to get a check up to make certain there were no serious issues. It was easy to make an appointment Landon was courteous and professional. He checked the system, did minor maintenance and spliced the wires on the safety sensors.
