Our garage door opener quit working yesterday morning. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door Services around noon and they had a Technician (Jeremy Malek) out at my home within 2 hours. He quickly identified a number of issues with the current setup and we agreed that my old opener (~15years old) needed to be replaced. He did an exceptional job installing the new opener (a LiftMaster 878504-267), rollers, and realigned the rails all in less than 2 hours. Jeremy was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and easily answered all my questions. It took just a few minutes for him to show me how everything worked and to reprogram the wall unit if needed in the future. We a very happy with the features of the LiftMaster unit and feel like we made an excellent choice selecting Precision.

We were having garage door motor problems so I called Precision Garage Door of Austin as it was a familiar name. I was hoping for a quick fix, but we ended up replacing motors for both doors. Expecting replacement was likely, I had considered getting other quotes or even DIY, but our garage door professional, Caleb (of PGDoA), was so knowledgeable and thorough that I didn't want to pass up the opportunity to have him do the job. Were it not for Caleb's attention to detail, craftsmanship, and helpful explanations, I'd have shopped around because garage door problems don't exactly come with cheap solutions. I wish I could find a plumber, electrician, etc., with the same integrity as Caleb and PGDoA.

Our garage door came untracked on New Years night, and I could not raise it enough to get the Camry out. I called Precision Garage Doors the next morning, thinking it'd be days before they could get to me. Surprisingly, Sean the tech was here before 2pm that very day (and ahead of the scheduled time). He did an analysis, presented me with several options, and explained clearly what needed to be done. I chose the basic 'fix', and he had that done in about 45 minutes. He was consistently transparent and thorough, and he even lubricated all the hinges and friction points. Door is back to its old self, but quieter! While it seemed a bit expensive, it was very prompt and professionally done.

Shane arrived at my home at the time he stated. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I showed him my faulty garage door and he immediately showed me the issue. He laid out a proposal and estimate which I agreed to. He was done with the repair in an hour. Overall, it was a good experience. I'll be calling back when I need their service.

Jeremy showed up right on time, and less than 2 hours after I called into Precision this morning. Very polite, shook my hand and looked me in the eye. Great initial vibe. He took a preliminary look at the door and the Lift Master mechanism and immediately took ownership of the mis-installation they had done. It was a matter of a few missing nuts and bolts that had backed out because they were not tightened properly. He had it fixed in about 10 minutes and was on his way, but not without AGAIN taking ownership of the problem. He gave me good news about how he was going to warranty the problem AND the service call. Great news...unexpected expenses during the holidays are never fun.
